Books

Books

Our library hosts a collection of over 20,000 books and has access to many other items through the NH State Library’s Interlibrary Loan system. All books may be checked out for a period of 3 weeks.

Free Internet Access

Free Internet Access

Our library provides free Internet access within the library building and from the parking lot. For access to the wifi a password is required. To gain access to this password you must ask one of the librarians.

Computers

Computers

Our library has 8 community desktop computers for the public to use. These desktops are for in-building use only. In order to use these computers, you must check in with the library staff first. Policies for use of the computers can be found here.

DVDs

DVDs

Our library has a growing collection of CDs & DVDs for audiences of all ages. All movies can be checked out for a period of 7 days.

Magazines

Magazines

Our library has subscriptions to approximately 40 different magazines which circulate for a period of 7 days. Back issues of magazines are kept for approximately one year. For our list of subscriptions look here.

Audiobooks

Audiobooks

Our library has a growing collection of audiobooks and has access to many other items through the NH State Library’s Interlibrary Loan system. These materials may be checked out for a period of 3 weeks.

Our library has a growing collection of large print books and has access to many other items through the NH State Library’s Interlibrary Loan system. All books may be checked out for a period of 3 weeks.

Photocopying

Photocopying

Our library hosts a photocopier available for public use; all copies cost 15 cents per page.

Printing

Our library has access to printing with the use of the public computers. When printing; the first 5 pages are free, additional pages cost 15 cents per page.

Interlibrary Loan

Our Library participates in the Interlibrary Loan system run by the NH State Library. Through this system our library has access to retrieving almost any material that our patrons may desire.

Library Passes

Our library has various passes available to museums and state parks. These passes are provided by the Friends of the Library, who help to fund projects that might not be available otherwise. Find more information on the library passes page.

Art Shows

Our library provides a place for local artists to display and/or sell their artwork. If you are a local artist who would like more information on displaying your art work, please contact the library at (603)736-9920.

Material Delivery

Material Delivery

Our library has volunteers who are willing to deliver books to those who can not come to the library themselves. To request the delivery of materials to your place of residency call the library and the staff will help you.

Our library has multiple spaces available where groups, small or large. In order to reserve space, please contact the library. Please review the policies for these meetings to make sure your club or organization fit the criteria.

Our library is a location that collects donations for the Epsom food pantry.

Our library provides a Keurig for public use. Coffee and tea are provided. Each cup has a nominal fee

Kindles

Kindles

Our library owns 6 kindles that our patrons can check out from the library for their own use. You must be 18 years or older to have access to these devices. Find more information regarding our kindles here.

Telescope

Our library owns a telescope that patrons can check out for up to three days. You must be 18 years of age or older to have access to the telescope and must sign an agreement.

Notary

Our library has added notary services as free service to our patrons. Our notary is here most open hours, but call ahead to make sure our notary is available.

Library of Things

Library of Things

We have colaborated with 3 other towns to bring our patrons a “Library of Things”. Through this program you can take out a large variety of objects from cameras to canopy tents to cotton candy machines. We are hoping to continue adding more to this program as time goes on.
