Family Place Library

Family Place Library

The Epsom Public Library is entering its second year as a Family Place Library! Being a Family Place Library means that we have placed an emphasis on providing services to families with children aged 0-5. It has led us to reorganize our early childhood room, add programs for littles, buy new toys, and run a Stay & Play workshop twice a year. The Stay & Play workshop includes a specialized play area, community professionals, and an abundance of resources for families with young children. Our spring workshop is currently under way, but there will be another workshop in the fall for interested families.

Being a Family Place Library has also gained us access to an exciting new parenting resource that we are able to share with you! ParentTV is a virtual library of parenting videos and resources right
at your fingertips. Featuring videos by childcare experts, psychologists, music therapist, and more, ParentTV is an easy way to find some answers for all the difficult questions that come up when raising a child. It covers a range of ages from babies to teenagers and contains videos on subjects such as screen time, bullying, anxiety, and many more. To gain free access to this resource visit  https://library.parenttv.com/library/familyplace and use the code 9920 to log in.
